Step One: Sign up for an account

To sign up for an account, you must have a valid school email ending in ".edu". Once you're signed up, you'll be asked to confirm your email. We use this to help us verify your enrollment at an accredited institution.

Step Two: Verify your identity

To comply with federal regulations and help prevent terrorism, we ask for information like your address and social security number. This data will be encrypted and passed securely to our identity verification partner.

Step Three: Click "Apply" from your borrower dashboard

Once you confirm your email, you'll be able to access the student dashboard. From here, you can update your account information and apply for funding. This is also where you'll be able to track the status of your applications and payments.

Step Four: Select the fund you'd like to apply for

Once you start the application, you'll be prompted to select the fund you're applying for. This will likely be named after the term you'll be using the funds for (Fall 2019, Spring 2020, etc.).

Step Five: Tell us about your studies

We'll ask for information including the name of the school you attend, your GPA, and the amount of credit hours you've completed. This helps us determine your eligibility and tailor the your terms to you.

Step Six: Upload your documents

Once you tell us about your studies, we'll ask you to upload a copy of your transcript. If you don't have an official transcript yet, that's okay! If you're granted funding, we'll ask you to send us an official transcript before we disburse the funds.

We'll also ask you for a copy of your resume. This helps us get a better picture of you and all you've accomplished!

In addition to your transcript and resume, you can upload supporting documents. These can be anything that helps us learn more about you, like awards, certificates, or an offer letter for a job.

That's it! 🎉

If you apply for the fall term, expect to hear back from us in the beginning of August. If granted funding, we'll verify your information and disburse the funds to your bank account.
